What are the Whimsies?

Whimsies are illustrated, multimedia stories for your children. They are still books – but ones with animations, voiceover and background music. So that reading and spending time together is simply beautiful!

We want to give you wise, classic fairy tales. Rewritten, revised and easy to read.

Because the tablet and phone can be a tool. One to spend time together, calm down and let yourself be drawn in!

Whimsies support development and focus!

We created Whimsies because we want the content your child has access to not just be cool. Yes, Whimsies are meant to entertain, capture attention and bring joy. But not only that! We rewrote classic fairy tales, added detailed illustrations, animations and voiceover.

We did all this to teach children, stimulate conversation, develop the habit of reading. And practice attention span!

Attention should be practiced!

Children are using the Internet. Even a two-year-old knows how to use a phone or tablet. And does it willingly - watching YouTube videos, playing games. The Internet is addictive and sometimes it's hard to tear a toddler away from the screen even for a moment.

Most parents, therefore, sooner or later face the same problem - not only the quality of the available content is often poor, but also its vastness.... The result? Problems with focusing attention, constant agitation.

THIS IS NO ACCIDENT. This is how the Internet is built, this is how social media are created. The goal - to draw us into using it for as long as possible. And they do it precisely by constant stimulation. 30 seconds of video, 180 characters in a post. We are supposed to watch as much as possible. We are adults, we can say - stop. enough. But children? They are just learning. They won't say enough.

So we limit access, try to interest the child in something else. All often to the great displeasure of our kid. Does it have to be this way?

Technology is a great Tool!

Tablet, phone and Internet are tools. You can fight them, but isn't it better to use them? Illustrated, multimedia fairy tales, engaging stories with animated pictures will make it easier for you to grab your child's attention and read together before bedtime. And during the day, if you no longer have the strength to read the same fairy tale for the twentieth time - turn on the voiceover!
